Below is a list of prerequisites in order to be considered:
  • High School Freshmen – Current Seniors (If all 12 spots are not filled, we open this trip up  to individuals who attend our Connect ministry).
  • Has at least a 50% participation record at EDGE meetings, Athletes EDGE, Retreats, trips, etc. (If you have a question  about attendance contact me). We still encourage all students interested to sign-up, because not everyone meets the criteria and qualifies based on interest.

  • Contact Pastor James by either email or phone to register before deadline.

THIS MISSIONS TRIP IS FULL

What Happens After Students are Chosen?
Students chosen to participate will have to make a commitment to attend at least 1/2 of all EDGE meetings and events. This is because of the seriousness of this trip, and we are looking for our students to make a commitment to continued growth before they travel to Peru.

*All Students will need to acquire a passport as soon as they are accepted (this process can take anywhere from 2 months to 4 months).

The Cost?
The cost of this missions trip is $1200 and includes everything except the purchasing of food on the way there and back and for any souvenirs. We will be helping students create a letter to raise funds for this trip, in order to offset cost (scholarships are always available as well).

Passports will have to be purchased on own.

Where?
We will be ministering in Lima, Peru under the oversight of a local head pastor. Our students will be ministering to the towns people in a variety of ways. Some of the ministry will include dramas, teaching, leading in worship, organizing youth services, working on new church construction, and a host of other activities to meet the needs of the people of these churches and the people of their cities.

We will be staying at one of two hotels yet to be determined.

Other Important Info:
Students who are selected will attend an informational meeting in March (TBD) hosted by Mark Britt (Mark has taken our group to NYC for the past 6 years and Mexico 2 times), who has over 30 years of Missions leadership experience all over the world. If you have any questions please contact me.
