This October, 4 Adults and 15 Youth (Juniors & Seniors have registration Seniority and we will also be taking into consideration attendance over the last year concerning meetings, small groups, and retreats) will be going on a missions trip to NYC that serves along side of “My Father’s Heart Ministries” and the New York City Relief.

We will be serving the homeless and hurting food from a converted bus that travels to the streets to feed the hungry of that area.  While serving, we will be ministering to them God’s Word, praying with them, and giving them items of need.
PARTICIPATION:  Anyone interested in being a part of this Missions Trip will need to fill out the online application (link to be provided earlier to deadline). HS Seniors & Juniors have priority and underclassmen are encouraged to apply as well. Every year we take a handful of underclassmen and have also brought along 8th graders. Because we have great student interest for this trip, we base our selections on past attendance for our meetings, camps and other events including the online application.
We are asking that students and their families be prayerful about their involvement.
The Below Schedule is tentative and subject to changes (especially Saturday’s – which is based on traffic and availability of time).
The Total Cost of the Trip is $230, which covers most food, travel, and lodging.
*Money will be requested after student’s application is accepted.
We will be staying at Living Waters Fellowship Church in Brooklyn, NY.
NOTE:  This year we will be staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in Secaucus/Meadowlands, NJ on Saturday night only.

When Are We Leaving?

We will be leaving from Kingdom parking lot at 8am on Thursday. We are asking for everyone to be at the church by 7:30am, the latest, so we can pack the vans and go over any other preliminary details. We plan on arriving back at Kingdom between 8 and 9 pm on Sunday

What Do We Bring?

Mark, who is our guide and the one in charge, only allows one CARRY-ON  bag per person, plus one bag for bedding. This is because we are not allowed to bring a trailer into the city and will only have 1 minivan for luggage storage. Toiletries, towels, and bedding (twin size) will be needed.

 What About Spending Money?

Spending Money will  be needed for food and drinks on the way up and back.  During our time in the city spending money is needed for snacks and drinks in-between meals. We cover all main meals.  We will  be sight seeing on Saturday night as well, so money for souvenirs is also applicable. We are recommending $75 and up concerning spending money.

If you are not attending the missions trip, there are many ways you can support and be involved: 1:  Prayer 2: Donate items such as:  Bibles and toiletries (travel sizes only)

3. Sponsor someone to go on the trip
